Twenty-six years ago today, Valentine's Day changed forever for me.
My son was born on this day of hearts and love. He is my best-ever Valentine.
And while now, as a grown person, he personally sees this day as a commercial rip-off,
he will always be, in my heart,
my birthday-boy valentine.

My best friends boys were born on Rememberance Day (I think Valentines Day would be the day of conception for these dates in November!) and Independance Day. (though we don't celebrate the latter being Canadian!)
My grandmothers 87th was yesterday.
