Fed Up

That's what I am. Fed up with my whole zen attitude lately about dieting. Just relax and eat smaller portions, I'd tell myself. Eat a little of what ever you want and you'll be fine, I'd say. Well, how's that been working? Not good. Not good, at all. It's time to put on the brakes and set some real rules for myself. A rigid, hard core low-carb diet is what works best for me. I want to see some fast results, too, so low-carb it is.

I'm going to post what I eat (and maybe even pictures). I'm going to write everything down. I'm going to drink a lot of water. I'm going to do this. I'm sick and tired of carrying this weight around.

Does any one use the BodyBugg or GoWearFit? I've been thinking of getting one of those types of things to help with motivation. Let me know how yours works for you if you've got one.

Have a great week and don't forget to drink your water.

  1. I used the Gowearfit for a year and liked it a lot. I made me realize how few calories I actually burned compared to what I thought I was burning. Plus, it helped me see what activities were the most effective.

My weight is creeping into the wrong direction too. I'm thinking of signing up for a "contest" with the Eat Clean thing...

  3. PROLO is my attempt at low-carb humor - meaning I'm pro-low carb :-)

Like Lori, I think we all overestimate the calorie burn.

Good luck with your plan. You can do this.

Memory for 7 days.....calculates all kinds of things....
Not a BBug, but still ok!

LoCarb is the only thing that worked for me, too.
Maybe it's the common denominator in many successful plans!

  6. People loooove the bodybugg.

    and the rest of it?
lemmie know if you want any thought.

low PROCESSED carb perhaps? yet keeping in the complex lumpybumpy kinds?

that tends to lessen my sugar cravings and keep me more satiated over all!

  7. Tena - I bow to thee at reducing the carbs. That would be tough for me. I've wanted a BodyBugg for soooo long now, but can't wrap my wallet around the price. I haven't heard of the other one you mentioned. Good luck Tena!! You can do it!
