Instant Karma

Today I changed my attitude at work. I have decided to embrace the difficulty of it and move on. Life is too short to get bogged down in muckity-muck. And it always seems that when I change my attitude, things roll a little smoother, for everyone. It's not what I want, but it's what is best so I can keep my sanity. I need peace and acceptance and if I harbor ill feelings, there is no peace.

Karma, baby. Anyhoo...

Here it is the middle of October and I have not been focused on losing weight. I've been munching on Goldfish Graham Crackers and a few other munchie type foods that are easy to binge on. It's time to stop screwing around and get back to business.

Focus. Focus. Focus. See it and want it. Know it and do it. And don't forget to drink your water :p

  1. Life really is about what we choose to make it. If we can frame a situation in a different way, elect to see it from a different perspective, it can make all the difference in the world.

    Absurd, indeed.

Let's haul ass the rest of the year - I'm in!

Thanks for all the great support, Tena. I do appreciate it.

  2. They've got goldfish graham crackers? Good God.

Back in the game? I don't think you were ever out of it, Tena.
    I'm rooting for you always.

  3. Attitude is more important then fact. That is a quote I heard one time. It really holds true for me.

Glad to hear you have pushed through the work thing. It would suck to hate your job.

Just read about you signing up for another race. NICE

  4. Ah, I always forget to drink enough! I'm finding staying on track is really tough in the cold weather, but its only going to get colder! Good for you for getting back on track.

  5. attitude is everything isnt it. I was logging back in bacause I wanted to post at least one positive thing on my last "poor me" rant. So I will. :)

I'm now in H-town!! I'm going to have to get a bike soon so we can go for a spin.

  6. Tena - I must change my focus and attitude and pray for good karma vibes at work too. It's just been way too stressful for the past four months. It really does make a difference when my attitude is different. Sometimes it's hard to maintain though. ;/
